STATE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (SEC)

Under the provisions of Section 20, Sub Section(1) laid down in Disaster Management Act 2005, the State Executive Committee has been constituted w.e.f. 01.08.2007, as detailed below:

About SEC

The State Executive Committee is responsible for implementing the National Policy and State Policy on Disaster Management, and ensuring compliance with directions issued by the National Disaster Management Authority.

The committee meets regularly to review disaster preparedness measures and coordinate response activities across departments.
